Who would have thought that something imperfect could be so beautiful and sought after?

No, it's not the workmanship its the wood itself.  Here at Imperfecta, we let the wood speak to us, we let its colour shine through and if the wood is impefect then that is its beauty and that is what makes every piece unique. No two pieces can be identical and there lies the attraction.

Every Imperfecta item is lovingly hand turned and polished in our artisan workshop using traditional methods and genuine Scottish wood foraged on our motorcycle travels throughout Scotland.

This little pill box came from my friend Wilma's old curtain rail. I was offered the pieces you see in the picture for kindling. Think the pill box is a much better outcome for the wood.

The wood for this little honey pot was found in the local woods during a walk, Scottish beech. The little button top on the lid is a bit of mahogany from a boat originally built in 1939.
